Waimarino

On Tuesday 3rd November we all went to Waimarino for the day. The bus got here at 8am and we left to go to Waimarino. We left at around 2pm and got to school at 4.30pm. Some people invited there family and friends to come along with us to give some of us support. Even the adults enjoyed themselves just like the kids.

When we all got there we were given some morning tea before we went and done some sports. The kayaks were the first thing we went on for the morning. We wereon the kayaks for about 2 or 3 hours,but it was fun. When I first got into the kayak it felt and looked liked I was about to fall out of it. Itr was hard to ride it at first but it gets easy after a while.

After that we went and had lunch then had a little play and then we went and done some other activities.

Fresh and Fruity

A class of school students were out picking berries when they came across…
They were out on the field when they saw some kind of plants in the ground all over the field when they crushed some of the plants and then they got in trouble for crushing the plants.

The plants were very strange and they have never seen anything like it before. The plants were growing higher and higher as they kept playing on the field. The colours on the berries was a dark red or a black type of colour. All of the students looked happy because they said that it looks stupid on the field. If we win the Competition we will win $10,000 and that would be a miracle. The money would go towards more sports equipment. A lot of people like to eat fresh and fruity yogurts because they think they are nice to eat them.

The yogurts you can buy from any supermarket and the people buy them every week at groceries, and then people take them to work for lunch. The $10,000 will go to Room 5.
I am in Room 5 and it is a cool class because we eat a lot of fresh and fruity yogurts, they are supposed to be good for you.

TENNIS LESSONS.

Today, Room 5 went to the AstroTurf to play Tennis. It was a sunny day to play Tennis too. We all enjoy ourselves & we all had fun as well. Mrs Edward is our teacher & she was talking to us about behaving while we were practicing skills to play Tennis. Tennis is a sport that most people like to play, watch it live or watch it at home on televition.Tennis is a sport that most people like & are might want to join & have a go at it. People that might want to join get out there & have some fun, get fit & you might get to know what Tennis is all about.
